Compensation and Benefits

• Full-time, Permanent
• Practical Miles
• Paid for E-Z Pass/Transponder
• Paid for Plates & Permits
• Paid for Insurance
• Satellite installation
• Tolls
• FCA Fuel Surcharge Program

Base Rates

• Loaded – $1.15/miles
• Empty – $1.05/miles
• Hourly Rate to Tractor – $35

Bonus Rates (Premium)

• Fuel Surcharge (85% of FCAC published Rates)
• US Premium – $0.10
• Mountain Premium – $0.35
• ON/QC to Mid-West – $0.15

Bonus Rates (Extra Stop & Meat Inspections)

• Extra stop – $30

Requirements

• Class 1 driver’s license with minimum 1 year of Highway experience
• 21 year of age or older
• Maximum three (3) moving violations in the past 12 months
• No more than one (1) minor preventable accident in the past 24 months
• No more than four (4) demerit points
• Current 5 Year Driver’s Abstract – no older than 30-days from application date
• Criminal Record Search & Drug and Alcohol Screening
• Safety vest & Steel toed boot

Light Speed Logistics (Calgary, Alberta terminal) is looking for professionals who are passionate about shipping and have a proven track record of safely and quickly transporting products between warehouses and other locations. Candidates must have experience in the transportation industry, a valid CDL license and an understanding of local driving laws.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively with both our customers and upper-level management regarding issues related to their routes and tasks.
